Arcadis , director of resilient cities
Anusha joins Arcadis from her previous role as Founder and CEO of Plan for Earth, a consultancy offering advisory services in Water, Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience, Sustainability and Inclusive Design. A chartered engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Anusha specialises in Water & Environmental Engineering with nearly 20 years’ experience in designing, managing and leading projects and programmes both in the UK and internationally. She brings a wealth of experience working with government, NGO’s, consultants, contractors, regulator and utility companies, and has led various multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural projects on Water, Environment, Flood Risk Management, Mining and Rail.
Anusha is a Member of the London Climate Change Partnership and has recently been appointed as a Visiting Professor at King’s College London on Climate Adaptation & Resilience, Sustainability and Inclusive Design. As Chair of the Thames Estuary Partnership, a charity working towards sustainable management of the Thames Estuary, Anusha will be using her stakeholder engagement expertise to support Arcadis’s wider strategic focus on placemaking and the creation of liveable cities right across the country.
